Through the use of the continuous line, (below left and in detail, below right) Jordan’s new Black and White drawings,
play with motion, energy and constancy. Extending the boundaries of human anatomy while maintaining the details of the
figure, this series of drawings suggests an energized continuous activity (life) on a two dimensional surface.
The desire to represent form as an active ingrediant as in the manner of the Futurists and Cubists, remains an enduring motivator. Now residing in Brooklyn,
the stark urban environment with its flow and ebb of mutiplicity and human activity serves as perpetual inspiration for this new body of work. Please see my Instagram feed for additional new work.
